Quick Hit: Every Job Has an Upside

The Chronicle of Higher Education recently interviewed higher ed administrators and faculty about jobs they held on campus as undergrad students. This naturally made me think back to my sole on-campus job: soliciting donations from alumni and past and present parents. From the time I entered school—and I’m talking elementary school—I knew I wanted a career that involved writing, and lots of it. What I wanted to write about, however, was uncertain.
