In our current world of ever-shrinking attention spans, there aren’t many people who will read a new survey, report or study thoroughly.
I’m one of those people who genuinely loves information, data and digging into reports, etc. that are of interest to me. However, like most people I don’t have enough time to read through every survey or report to glean the most interesting statistics or data points.
That’s why it’s so important to be able to present this type of information in engaging, exciting and easily understood ways. One great way to ensure this information is readily available is by creating tailored infographics for different audiences.
Sure, great design can cost a lot of money, and it can be hard for a communications team with limited resources and time to prioritize these projects.
Edudemic recently posted a feature profiling several easy-to-use online tools for creating sharable, visually appealing infographics. A couple of these tools are still in beta form, but I encourage you to check out the list and play around with the those featured. Find the one that you’re most comfortable using and keep it in mind the next time you have a project that can benefit from having an infographic.
