According to a recent report from the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University, Black students have significantly less trust in higher education than their white peers, particularly in the senior leadership.
In a piece for Inside Higher Ed’s Call to Action blog, Teresa discusses what marketing and communications professionals must to do address this–including asking important questions about what is actually being done on campus to foster a culture of inclusion and better connect with, engage, and support students of color. She also rounds up some resources for comms colleagues to use as they examine how to build that trust with their Black students.
