Unfortunately, today I am watching a crisis unfold at Lone Star College’s North Harris campus. Reports of a shooting on campus it the media around 15-20 minutes ago. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the situation is resolved soon and peacefully.

I like the simplicity of the site and how it begins with the most vital information and answers the most pressing question- what should members of the community do in the event of an emergency?
