New babies are always special and exciting, but the furor around baby number three for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is a bit more intense than what most families experience. Predictably, various news outlets are clamoring to cover the birth in unique ways. Below are some of the more interesting, fun pieces I’ve enjoyed over the past few days:
- What exactly is his name? Harper’s BAZAAR breaks down how the little one will be titled, as well as what his elder sister and brother are officially named.
- Who doesn’t love baby pictures? Well, even if you don’t, this slideshow of the royals throughout the ages as babies and toddlers from Cosmopolitan is a fun look just for the fashion! It’s a little heavy on William and Kate’s brood, but my favorite is a 1965 snapshot of Princes Andrew and Edward playing with toys. Andrew is rocking an impossibly adorable tie.
- How was she up and moving about so quickly? Moms around the world are in awe of Kate’s ability to be up and presenting the new baby less than seven hours after giving birth. And of course, she looked absolutely stunning while doing so. Town & Country talks to insiders who explain what goes on behind the scenes at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital.
